Suisse Normande
Located at the gates of the Agglomeration of Flers, Suisse Normande is full of cycling routes and itineraries along the river Orne. Nature is well done by redesigning a picturesque landscape, very popular with cyclotourism lovers.
From Hotel le Galion ***, you have the possibility to join two routes: the Vélo Francette® or the Véloscénie®. So do not hesitate and your guide!
Bike rides: the queen activity
Cycling is the queen activity of Normandy Bocage. That is why, for several years, the Hotel Le Galion has been developing a holiday offer adapted to Cyclotourists by offering them all the necessary facilities: Bicycle parking closed and secure, triple and quadruple rooms that can accommodate groups of people. friends or family members (3 to 5 people). A washing machine is also available to Cyclotourists, for free, for washing their linen.
Hotel le Galion has the “Accueil Vélo” and “Normandie à Vélo” labels. Another advantage, and not the least, that Cyclotourists stay in Flers appreciate is access to bike wash points and access to bike repair kits at several Flers service providers located near starting points of hiking trails.

La Vélo Francette®
Take the route of the Vélo Francette®, leaving the Channel crossing Flers and Bocage Normand, down to the Atlantic along the green meadows of the Mayenne and the Vineyard of Maine et Loire, before arriving at La Rochelle. We strongly recommend the section of the Vélo Francette from the beaches of Normandy, the opportunity for you to discover the D-Day beaches. You will cross the Suisse Normande where you will be guided by the river Orne, until you arrive at the hotel le Galion *** in Flers where everything is planned for the reception of Cyclotourists that you are: Parking for private bicycles and secure, triple and quadruple family rooms very comfortable and functional for stays with family or friends.
La Véloscénie®
If you opt for the circuit of Veloscenie, after your stay in Paris and its region, you will discover the history of France, illustrated by its beautiful villages, meadows, rivers and the most beautiful monuments located between Paris and Mont-Saint-Michel. With family or friends, you will alternate between developed trails, greenways, small marked roads and forest roads. At the end of Paris, you will cross the Vallée de Chevreuse and continue your route to Chartres, you continue your journey across the Perche and you will then arrive in the Norman Bocage for a few days stop at the Hotel Le Galion * **, before continuing your route to Mont-Saint-Michel.
